In a place where sound and light constantly inhabit each corner and a constant move of motion is set, there is a small space where the city’s life cannot intimidate the energy.

Intricately laid mosaic floors of beauty lead us into a stately space torn between two eras of grand design while soft dancing light falls through fragile windows gradually settling below on the meticulous interior.

Restful and calm, the air is folded in multiple layers of emotion while gems sit gracefully on bare delicate shoulders.

Time suspends us on her cords of reality while we create a pace of our own to move through an existence we have yet to fully explore and appreciate, while enjoying every moment of it.

Opulent architecture welcomes us individually into her modest beauty as gentle footsteps move up her grand stairways. Varying shades of green adorn the walls and doors, while vast pressed ceilings capture the romantic and emotional energy that fills the room.

The air is calm and bright as perfect patterned details in white, intrinsically and intricately joined in harmony, fall on still shoulders. Softly bound and carefully held in a gentle embrace, a bouquet of lacelike flowers await to meet the single white gerbera at the end of the aisle.

With united hands and blessed hearts we move out into our new world, greeted by the elevated arches of traditional rainbows.

Our time to dance carefree to life’s hum, surrounded by laughter and smiles.

Spring sunshine gently caresses the crisp morning air against the laughter and smiles that fill it. Content in a space of comfort and love, laughter lines crease the skin leaving imprints of moments along their folding.

Fresh blossoms and bright leaves greet us as we journey toward a new chapter in our life, with joy and excitement waiting around every turn. Our own adventure.

Individually unique, as is our relationship, we compliment the other in ways we don’t realise.

This week has seen the start of a personal project of mine which I’ve called 30/31.

The story behind this is that on Saturday 7th April I turned the grand old age of 30, and believe it or not I’m really happy about it. I know some people don’t like getting older and dread their birthday but to be honest I’ve got a lot to be grateful for at my age. For one I’m sitting here writing this, happy and healthy, I’m planning on getting married to a beautiful girl and there are many amazing things coming up this year for me.

My plan is to take a picture a day from 7th April 2012 to 7th April 2013. It’s my personal journey over the next year, and I welcome comments and for anyone to be a part of it.

Amidst the hustle of an ever moving city, lies the tranquility of calm stone arches above intricate mosaic flooring. The beautiful wedding ceremony of Jess & Louis was held in the grand walls of the Manchester Town Hall, captivating the dreamlike atmosphere and enhancing the ever present romantic mood.
